I have used these strings for, I suppose, since I received my 12 string back in the late 70s. Living in a tropical climate, I have found that I have to change my strings on my whole collection about once a month. But Fender strings are all I have used. I have experimented with many brands through the decades, but always seem to come back to Fender.

When I purchased my Fender CD160-12/E, it recommended these strings. I had to replace the strings three days after I bought the guitar. The second set was so corroded I had to replace them a week later, the third set was corroded straight out of the package. I found out these are made in china of the cheapest alloy possible and then spray painted to cover the corrosion. Avoid the crappy strings and put on a set of D'Addarios or Martins--they're way better than any string Fender markets.
