Being a lefty I chose these tuners to put on my made in mexico fender strat as change from the stock tuners. I have to say these tuners have very solid construction. Although I don't think it was the best choice as a replacement because they are differently shaped and larger on a "MIM" with a smaller headstock and dont bolt in the same. I'm probably going to have to patch the holes with wood putty that held the original tuners in place and drill new holes. If you have a larger headstock on your strat it makes installing these a whole lot easier.
