How are you gonna rate a jewel less than what you expect it to be? You obviously bought it knowing that it was a replacement for your Fender red jewel, it's not gonna boost your tone, or change the amps distortion in any way. This is one of those get what you see deals. If you want style, buy a jewel.

The green jewel is rather more eye catching than the standard red, and compliments the silver grill cloth on my Deluxe quite nicely.
