I like the bullet mass at the trem end. I like the way the bullets FIT into the trem. I like the way the the bullet end is not wrapped, which tends to kink and break. I like the reduction in string/finger noise that only nickle will provide. I like the fact that the nickle will not wear on the saddles and the frets (as quickly). I play out 3 times per week, I change my strings every 2 weeks (about a week worth of playing). I use Fast Fret to keep the corrosion to a minimum. My strat came out of the factory (1997) with the nut cut to fit these strings. I'm happy.

I tired Snarlin' Dogs, but those were expensive and overall were not worth the expense and ill fit (ball end).

I think Fender has done the consumer right on these and thank 'em for it.

I got to boogie.... see ya!

If you've got a Fender and you love it, who'd know better what strings work the best with it but Fender? They're on the warm side with the right amount of crisp brightness with a deep liquidy bass - and, the nickel strings won't cut a groove into your bridge saddles like stainless steel WILL! Beautiful mellow tone that won't damage your vintage Fender bridge makes it a no brainer.

Only strings I'll use on a Strat

These are great strings if you want a good vintage strat. When new they feel weird, kind of sticky like violin strings. I liked this, but it soon faded away. But now they are super fast yet are easy to play and retain great tone. I've used Ernie Ball's and they weren't bassy enough. The bass strings had more of a 'dang' than the classic bell-like 'duung' of a vintage strat. These strings nailed that sound.

I use these strings on my strat and my paul reed smith. They hold their tone, don't break, and sound great! The tone is pure and the stings complete my sound!

I use these on my US made Strat & they give a mellow vintage type of tone which is what they are intended for. They stay in tune pretty good & I never have had one break yet. Overall, a decent string for Strats.
