It seems to be accurate enough, the display is bright and easy to read, etc... The only problem is (and I should've listened to the other reviews that mentioned this) that after a while it will start to emit a low E tone while it's supposed to be "muted." Other than that it works fine.

If you need a perfectly quiet tuner while tuning onstage then this one is NOT for you.

I bought this tuner for my son who just started his own band. I've used others over the years and this pedal works just as well. Only a fool would pay twice as much for another brand. Display is bright and large. Heavy duty construction. And it has the muted output which is key for a rockin' pro live set. Fender stands by their products too so if you do have any problem just send in for an exchange. (Save your paperwork)

When I got this tuner, I loved it, thought it would last for ever. I bet a buddy that mine would outlast his Boss...10 months later, the whole cover comes springing off my tuner. No big deal, but now it does it continuously and will not stay on. 11 months later, it no longer tunes the low E string. Now I have to buy a Boss...You get what you pay for, 11 months of use.

I own 4 different tuners and this is clearly the worst. It jumps all over the place and is really inaccurate. I bought a boss tu-15 which rocks.. this is now a good paperweight.
