I purchased these to cut down on some of the hum from my strat & tube amp. From the very first strum I could hear so much more detail and richer and clearer tone and very quiet. It's like the difference between regular and High Def TV. I guess I will put my old cables in the box with my records.

This cable is very expensive and it doesn't even have gold plated connectors. It is a quality cable, but it should cost 20 dollars less. You would be better off just by spending a little more money and buying a super high quality mogami.

We are very pleased with the clarity of tone delivered through the Fender platinum series cables. My strats deliver a more articulate mid range through my Plexi and I finally understand sensitive touch dynamics with my twin.. The dreadful drone of my older strats noisy pups is all but eliminated. I no longer use a noise gate suppressor, which is somewhat nice since I use no effects beyond what the engineer dials in. These cables seem to be manufactured decently, time will tell though. I pace a lot during my sessions and usually lesser quality cables go south, somewhat quickly not to mention socks and band mate’s nerves. The engineers I am currently working with swear by Mogami products and that’s cool. For me, I kinda dig everything Fender.

I'm a huge Fender fan and have been a Monster Cable guy for years for my Tele. I tried a platinum series guitar cable and am amazed at really the difference this cable made. not to bass heavy, not to bright but more feel. the mids are absolutely crystal clear and my guitar seems to have more "oomph". I'd definately say to give these a try as I didn't think it was possible that any other cable could outperform my Monster's. the metal ends are super cool. the cable is a little tight but I would think as I use it more it will become more flexible. the only thing I wish is that it came in 20'. but using my pedalboard, it's still plenty long to groove comfortably.....
