I own an American Deluxe Strat, and these are the best strings I've used on this guitar. I've heard so many players say these strings are terrible, but I don't know why. Super slinkys, and the other stuff simply does not have the tone these things have, plus, I've found they stay in tune better than the other brands, probably due to the bullet end being soldered onto the string instead of the traditional winding.

I almost lost my mind with intonation problems on my Strat using other brands of strings. Maybe I'm just cursed with perfect pitch but these strings sound dead on and most likely saved me from selling my Strat. These are the only strings that will go on my Strat from now on period!

Very good strings. For a guy with a Fender Stratocaster, you NEED these strings. They fit well and keep their tone.

So, these strings came on the strat I recently bought, but I decided to put some Ernie Ball Extra Slinkies on it. Well, the high e string on the ernie balls broke after about 5 minutes of playing, and the end actually stuck in my face. Definately going back to these, I didn't have any problems with them whatsoever.

These were the only strings I got for a while after I got my first electric. They really do sound okay, but they are definitely not the highest quality. I do agree with others in saying that the bullet end is really and it would make sense for the end of the string to be that shape, but it is not really needed. D'addarios makes way better strings though, and I'm not just talking about the expensive coated ones, the cheap ones are amazingly stable and last longer too. If you try these strings and like them then thats cool, but they are crap compared to the D'addarios.
