Upon opening my package of finger weights I was immediately disappointed. The plastic rings which hold the weights seem cheaply made and are uncomfortable. Their design makes it hard to play stringed instruments. The plastic part that attaches to the underside of your fingers tends to clip strings on your fingering hand and the weights above your fingers tend to hit strings on your strumming hand. I think this product is more suited for piano or other exercises not involving a stringed instrument. Finger weights do work as advertised but in my opinion are not worth the price or the discomfort.
