My rhythm guitarist had his guitar set on this stand of mine and the stand fell over and destroyed his brand new guitar. i would recommend any other stand.

All i can say is this stand is the worst ive ever seen. i got it and within a week it broke where the vertical shaft connected to the "feet" and droped my Gibson les paul standard on my floor and broke the headstock. it cost me over 100 dollars to repair it. MF is the best online music store i know, and it dissapoints me that they would sell this poor quality product. do your self and your Axe a favour and save up for a Hercules stand. its worth the money.

I have used two of these, one for an electric and one for an acoutsic-electric. Both stay pretty well on this sturdy stand. It is also nice and light and easy to travel with.

Now, the bad. When I dont have a guitar on it, the bottom is extremely loose. It can fall out easily when just mocing it across the room. The sponge also is very lose on mine and is falling off constantly.

Overall, its not bad in a pinch. Wouldn't be my first choice next time.

Good stand, the base is sturdy plus is padded to protect your guitar. Not the best for on the road, although it folds up nicely and is super light. Good for in the studio or just around the house.

I've probably dealt with about 20 of these babys and lemme tell you I've never had a problem with any of them. They've traveled very well although I prefer to use a non padded one for travel I've modifed to strap to my gear bag my band members use those and at home they hold two of my guitars and my bass and no problems no breaking, ya sometimes the paddings come alittle loose but all in all I'm pretty satisfied.
