I own two Furman PL8 one space rack units. These look good too. I've used these and they kick around the stage well tough metal boxes with solid switches. Excellent protection well worth the money, top value.

I just got mine today. I only have 2 block adapters to put in it one that powers my pedal board and one for my wireless. For the last 8 yrs I've had them plugged into a 99 cent extension cord. I got this, plugged them in and there is a noticeable hum. I switch outlets, plugs, ever combo...pluggeg them back into my 99 cent cord and silence...guess I'll use it to plug in a light.

Great surge protector, on/off switch, when you plug in power cords you can feel them fit in nice and tight in the power sockets. The extra long cord is a plus too. Highly recommended for the studio or live environment.

PLan and simple this strip provides clean power with minimal cost. I tested two average strips with subpar and similar features and found that the SS-6B provided the cleanest/lowest noise combo. I have very audible AC noise within my home and this product along with a Furman Rack helps my digital gear tremendously------

Going to buy another Furman today!

I was a little skeptical to buy these at first since they were very cheap and you usually get what you pay for, but I like Furman so I took a risk and bought a few for work. I must admit, when I received them I was immediately impressed by their construction, so I bought 10 more. Six plugs is better than four on the quad boxes we've been using, and a wide box is good for our live sound - they don't tip over on stage like the skinnier strips. The power cord is a nice, thick, 14 gauge, not the cheaper 16 gauge found on most other brands. It's been a few months now and we've only had one of the surge LED's punch in, but so far no failures. I still can't believe that Furman can make these for so little!
