There's not much to say about this product, other than it rocks. I've always had trouble with finger-string, string-fretboard friction, even with new strings, which made it really hard to play sometimes. A friend told me about this, and said I should give it a try. Well, I bought a stick of it, and the second I put it on my strings and started playing, I fell in love. It gives the strings the perfect amount of smoothness, making playing effortless, and gives you much more control. I can't testify as to whether or not it prolongs string life, as I've only had it for a day, but I have no doubt it does.

Only downside is it makes your fingers feel greasy when you first put it on and start playing, but that goes away. Other than that, great product, and excellent value. I'd pay 5x its cost. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

This product works just the way it says. But i prefer not to use the cloth that it came with because of the lint it leaves on strings

Works as advertised. With D'Addario prosteels, they seem to sound brighter for longer. I still need to replace them every month or so but that only depends on the player. It leaves little bits of fuzz behind but that can be blown or played off easily enough. The little felt cloth they include is garbage, I just use old cloth diapers. I've been using the same stick for about 3 years now. I'm not sure about making you play faster but it does make it easier to play fast. I've only ever used it on rosewood and ebony fretboards.

I was shocked at how well this works. The other guitarist in my band uses it, so I asked him what it was. I've been using it before every practice/gig ever since then.

This is the best thing that has happended to my axes, my strings and my pocket too. This GHS cleaner does exactly what it says: Cleans and lubricates strings, makes me play faster/better, prolongs strings and fretboard life and makes friendly the string-frets friction. I always use it after and before playing and I feel I m using new strings every time I play and I m changing my strings each 3 months!. The only side down is the residual floss trash that leaves the cleaner tip and the soft cloth. But it s just a minor complain, I highly recomend buy and use this product!
