I tried the different GHS acoustics, covering the brightness spectrum, and I like these the best. They are on the mellow end of the spectrum, but the Martin's nature is bright, so the brigher strings just sound too trebly. These have a nice, full tone. Would probably sound good on a Taylor also. But not on a Gibson; I'd guess you'd want brighter strings on a Gibson.
