A Case Built For The Long Run

I have had this case for 4-5 years and it has seen its share of traveling. With my first electric my Dad bought this case to protect it, it has protected my guitar well. Surviving a messy room, trips to school, moving out, moving again, lessons, jamming, traveling... Aside from a few scuffs on the outside the case is like the day I got it. The latches and hinges are more than strong enough and the casing can handle a beating. I cannot believe this case is offered for such a low price. It fits just about any standard guitar well(Standard Strat, LTD 400, Jackson Dinky all fit perfectly)

If you need a case, get this one. I lasts...

I have two of these cases, one for my LTD and the Other for my PRS. Both guitars I treat as if they were my kids. Theses cases keep my kids safe from all the wear and tear of being on the road, show after show. I can stack them, and jump on them, no problem at all and I weight about 200 pounds. Overall great cases, totally amazing. Except for the small issue of my making the LTD fit, but all is well now. I rep these cases every show.

I've had other Gator cases and have written less than glowing reviews about them -- well-made but not the best fit.

Well, finally, here's a Gator case that is not only well-made, but a GREAT fit as well! It will certainly fit a real Fender Strat, but it fits other similarly shaped electrics.

I got this for my ultra-cool Yamaha RGX A2 (have a look, they sell 'em here!) and this Gator case is a PERFECT fit for my RGX A2. This Gator case hugs it firmly and snugly but not too tightly. Like a glove!

The padding on this case is really bad. Not good at all. Seems like just a very hard styrofoam with felt over it. Plus it really is not very universal. It will fit an Ibanez SZ520 but not the best.....real tight at first and if you "manually" break the case it it does fit. The hinges are small and wobbley but the ABS outter shell is good and solid.

Gator makes good cases, but this one must have gotten designed by the new employee just out of college......that doesnt play guitar.

Got this as a Christmas Gift from my wife today and it does a fine job for my Jackson DKMG. Solid built and the hardware seems like it will hold up for many years to come. The Jackson is a bit loose (it's a bit smaller than a full-size Stratocaster) and there is about 1" on either side of the guitar body in the case... but no big deal, when you close the case, it doesn't move a bit. There are two good sized compartments on either side of the neck that you could put picks, strings in... there is no cover, but when the case is closed it seals it in.

Can't go wrong with this one.
