These cases get the job done, but they're not quite as padded as I would like. They are definately heavy duty and I don't expect them to tear. I've used them once already to bring my drum set to solo and ensemble and plan on using them again at state. These cases are pretty good. My only complaints are that the padding could be a little thicker, and they're also a little pricy.

I picked up a set of these bags back in 2005. For what I paid,this is quite a nice set-and VERY much a good idea for playing gigs. For years I never used drum cases or bags-I just threw my kit in the back of my car. So,after several years of this, my drumkit looked like it had been through a war. After purchasing two new kits and restoring another,it looked like bags were the way to go. Now I have two sets of bags-I like to put my kits in rotation. I will NEVER go without padded bags again.These are the best bags(in my opinion)for the money.
