That's my issue in a nutshell. I have a bass amp that will not fit in this case. Apparently Gator thought it would be a good idea to put corner panels on the back of the rack that would support four rubber feet so you could set the rack upright on the floor. Problem is, this 'innovation' renders this case practically useless for any deep type of power amp or effects processor. I'm like, what the...? Evidently the Q&A at Gator didn't bother to consider this detail when designing this rack. Straight trifling. Word to the wise: compare the dimensions of this case with your gear. Find out how much usable space the rack offers before you pull the trigger on a purchase. I assumed; now I'm hating life. I suppose I could use it for something else, but I didn't buy it to use with 'something else'. I guess the folks at Gator aren't much brighter than me. Or maybe they are, because I just got played.

I got this bag a year ago for taking my rack mounted vocal FX to gigs. It's exactly what it looks like; a small rack (I got the 2-space one) surrounded by vinyl and a little bit of padding for the occasional bump while carrying. It has pockets all over, which is a plus for carrying cords. The biggest surprise is that the stitching & outside material is still good - none of the stitching is frayed, and the vinyl is not torn (without good reason).

A sturdy, good looking piece, but with its flat cover, the racks on this unit are much too far forward. If your rack gear protrudes at all - with tall knobs, for instance - it's useless. You'll never be able to zip it closed.
