Nice Alternative

I bought this because I've wanted one of the Fender-made stands for a couple of years, but always thought they were too pricey. The Fenders are a little more sturdy, I'll say that...but as far as the basic function...if you treat this with care, it'll last you and it works just as well. It's a slightly tight squeeze to get my Gretsch in there, but that'd happen with the Fender one too. For the most part, this is just about as nice for a LOT less cash, and it's nice to have the inexpensive alternative. Plus, if you dig tweed, this PERFECTLY matches Fender's Blues Deluxe. :)

A have bought this guitar stand and now use it. It is great - you don't have to be afraid that your guitar will fall down, that won't happen. But when I was buying this stand, I thought it gonna be a bit smaller than it really is. The dimension is 25.39 x 20.87 x 6.30 and weight 18 lbs, so remember that, before you buy it. But I have to say, that the dimension guarantees you perfect stability. You can also use the interior for some cables etc...

This is the only kind of stand a guitarist should ever use, that is, if he values his instruments.

As a person who worked in music stores repairing guitars most of his life, I can tell you; THE MOST COMMON cause of guitar breakage is caused by guitar stands. Even the best, most heavy-duty stand has a glaring flaw, which is its lack of stability.

The story is always the same… Guitarist puts guitar on stand, either he, some fellow band member or a dancing drunk kicks the base of the stand or trips over a cord attached to the guitar… CRASH! …dead guitar.

The advantage of this style of case is its low center of gravity and the fact that it has no legs. It is larger than a “tube-pipe” stand, easier to see and a hundred times harder to knock over. Even if an energetic singer kicks it while strutting like Mick Jagger, or a drunk bass player trips over it trying to find his lighter, or if the hot babes you invited on stage to sing back-up repeatedly jiggle it… it won’t fall over.

The fact that it is the same or less money than three separate ( high quality) guitar stands should make you take notice. Also consider… it is handsome, convenient, padded, stores guitars at the correct angle, and looks more professional than stock stands.

If you have gigs that require more than one guitar at-the-ready, this is the best choice.

Stupid Folding Stands Be Gone!!!

I'm crazy happy with this purchase. Because the description is a little vague, I wasn't sure of how many acoustics I could fit. I expected either 3 electrics or one acoustic and one electric would be all. But... not one, not two, but THREE full sized dreadnaughts fit perfectly snug! My 335 fits. My Rick bass fits. EVERYTHING fits! 3 instruments in any combination will fit. Also, the black case has black plush on the inside, which I wasn't sure about. Very sturdy. Not too heavy. Definitely stage worthy. I only have two wishes: 1> that the sides snapped in place, and 2> I had another one!

Pretty Kickin Guitar Stand!

Ok, I needed something a little sturdier than the old tripod/aluminum guitar stand to hold my backup guitars onstage. After all, stages are all too dark and cramped, and the tripod stands are easy to tip over. I gotta admit, I went with this case (Tweed exterior/plush red interior) cause it simply looks cool onstage! Seems sturdy enough, and does the job of holding up to three guitars/basses. We'll see how well it holds up after some serious use. A big plus for me is that the inside foam pieces can be configured to carry additional gear. I use mine as a sturdy carry case for a Line 6 FBV Shortboard.
