Purchased the tweed covered case. This case is unbelievably light and appears reasonably padded, but the construction is extremely lacking. I would not put my Mexican Strat in this case and for sure not my American Tele. I'd be afraid of the case falling apart at the hinges, latches, or the handle. Look for a hard case to protect your valuable instrument. The felt also bleeds color and will stain nitro especially if the weather is humid or wet.

I was very disappointed. I really expected more quality from a Gator case. I bought this for a PRS SE hoping to upgrade from the gigbag. Terrible. My guitar barely fit, and I was scared to carry it because the handle was so iffy. Returning it and dropping some coin on a real PRS case.

WOW! i bought this case thinking "well i just need a hardshell case" but this case is so much better! it fits my strat PERFECTLY and is beautiful to boot! i gave it 4.5 on the features because it's just a basic case and a 4.5 on quality be cause it has one flaw. I bought the tweed and there's a small scratch on one of the sides. but the tweed is still gorgeous and looks even better in person. It's the perfect hardshell case! buy NOW!!!

This case is pretty nice. But theres a problem. My guitar doesnt fit in it. It barely misses the mark too. I have a viper 400 and the body is too wide for this csae plus the neck support isnt wide enough and thats just short of making it too. I dont know if it my cases neck support wasnt made right so its 2 small or what. Im just goin to return it and get something else. Other then the problem of my guitar not fitting its a pretty nace case. Everything seems to be built right except the latches dont seem to b the best.

I guess for the price you can't expect too much. The case I'm replacing for my Stat lasted 17 years,this one would last about a year or two. I sent this one back and bought a Fender but I was a little disappointed with the quality. I'm keeping the Fender case, don't want to pay any more return shipping costs.
