I bought this for my fender jaguar (very few cases fit it) and thought it was great... at first, i think the Velcro pads are fine, they don't really move on me, but maybe that's just me. the case is extremely big and heavy, which is a problem for me because i walk to school with it. but the area I'm most frustrated in is the fact that the latch had striped threads so eventually the latch popped off as well as the screws and i lost a screw and can't put the other one back in. I sent an email to gator because this should be under the warranty, but they're taking a long time to respond. overall, just get a different case.

I bought this for a fender strat/tele doubleneck I built, thus the need for a large custom case. I expected to need to rip out the insides to put in foam to make it perfect, but not as a necessity. I would not trust this for more than in-home storage - and I'll be very careful even at that. Buy a blemished like I did, it's crap anyway and you'll save a few bucks.

I bought this case for my ESP LTD V-500 because ESP does not offer one. There is a line of velcro along the inside edge of the case where the included velcro foam pieces (which are guitar specific) are placed to hold the guitar. I only used the two side pieces and an included cloth strap to block off the remaining velcro in the back because the velcro pieces for the corners are apparently for a Gibson Flying V. I ended up using one of the two corner pieces to help protect the headstock, even though it didn't really need it. Overall the guitar fits the case very well and I'm happy with it. My only complaint is that it was sent to me single boxed and got marked up a bit in transit.

Good idea, bad execution. The case is a mess and I would not trust my guitar in it. The velcro pc are unstable. The whole thing is a waste of money. You would be better off buying a generic case and customizing it yourself. Don't waste your time with this one.

Straight to the point this will not effectively protect the headstock point nor the upper wing tip of the Jackson rr series. Out of the all the foam brand specific pieces that were included only three were for the rr1. Bottom line I did not want to trust it in my trunk or at a gig couple of bumps few turns and the point of the guitar would be dinged. Instead of sending thiry pieces of foam for a multitude of guitars they should give you the option to pick the kit for your guitar instead.
