For the money, this is an excellent bag. I have used them occasionally but they are very sturdy. Only downside is the lack of thick interior padding in case you drop your instrument. I recomend them to those who want something to protect their congas at a decent price.

I've had two of these for a little over 4 months now. As a gigging percussionist I wanted something sturdy, but inexpensive. These bags are absolutely great. They retain their form and have remained sturdy. When they first arrived I applied a coat of water-proofing spray (same stuff you'd use on camping gear). Having played numerous gigs on rainy nights - this was a good move.

These conga bags are excellent. I have 3 and have used them for the past year. Between all the members of the rumba group I play with, we have bought 12 so far, and no one has had a problem yet. Pros: The head-down design makes the bag more stable standing and when wheeling it, better than the luggage cart and bungie cord setup I used to use. The wheels make a big difference when carrying a drum to the park, or a long distance from the car. The handles are well placed, I have not used the shoulder straps since I wheel the drums one or two at a time. The zippers are decent quality. Duffel bags are sometimes cheaper but put a strain on your back carrying one or more drums for any distance. Putting the drum in the bag is much easier than duffel bag designs, you just kind of tip the drum and carefully roll it into the bag, skin down. The padding is adequate for normal situations, car trunks, falling over at gigs, etc, but not for air travel. A 13 inch Skin on Skin tumbadora fits fine.

Cons: The inside lining material is a little thinner than I would like, but has not ripped or been damaged yet. The bag does not fold up as small as a duffel bag, so storing 3 or 4 bags takes significant space at home, and at gigs. A smaller size to fit a quinto would be nice.

Exacly what I expected, great quality, great padding & tuff built . I love them, not to mention the best deal for the money out there.

These are excellent bags and are well worth the money. You could spend more but doubtful you would get more for your money. Has several safety features that keep the bag form accidentally opening etc. A must buy if you need to move conga type drums around!
