I used these for years during practice, live performance, and in miscellaneous other loud environments before I got some (expensive) custom-molded high-fidelity earplugs made. These earplugs are definitely the next best thing, and I still keep a pair or two around as backups. WELL worth the money. If you're using foam plugs (or worse - nothing at all) you really owe it to yourself to check these out. They let you hear so much more accurately than foam plugs you really do forget they're there. They actually improved my performances dramatically.

These are the best... comfortable, easy to put in, and they let you hear it all. It's like turning the volume down at practice. There's no reason not to wear these.
