After all, any pedal selling for so cheap is a great deal. However, the Gibraltar Avenger has been giving me trouble since after about the second week. The screws holding the beater in place started to come loose around then, and since then it's only gotten worse. It's gotten to the point that the beater flies off the pedal in regular play, nothing to rough or anything, just grooving. It's a big hassle to have to re-tighten the screw every two or three songs, especially at shows. The rest of the pedal is great, but the beater really needs to be taken into consideration.

I've used plenty of pedals (Iron Cobra, DW 5000 Accelerator, etc.) and this one just felt natural. I didn't even have to adjust the tension on anything. Only reason features are lowered is because if you play bare-foot, the design of the pedal digs into your feet, but you do get used to it.
