i bought this about a year ago. i play very hard and heavy, but it will not move. best hardware i've ever owned. i usually have my 6" zil-bell on it. but recently i have used a 17 " crash and a heavy 20" ride. this thing can hold anything you put on it! BUY IT! buy 2. amazing deal!

I was disappointed to discover that these arms WILL NOT mount a vintage cymbal with the smaller hole. Neither my 30's Zildjian or Zenjian would even go over the sleeve. And that's not all. It's also very restrictive on a modern cymbal. I have used 6mm Tama cymbal mates with no problems for 14 years and spider cracked a Sabian HH 12" splash on the Gibraltar in one or two hits. 8mm threads dont bend as easily if dropped or hit upon but I much prefer the 6mm and will not buy without knowing again.

The best arm Ive ever had. Works in small areas. Rock solid under hard playing. Gibraltar makes some of the best hardware in the world. Buy one to add a splash, crash, china, ride, aux hi-hat. You wont be sorry

This Grabber cymbal arm is the best value for adding cymbals to your kit. I have my 14" crash mounted on one of my tom arms, and it is solid as a rock. It is super adjustable, you can mount it almost anywhere, and I would trust a 20" ride on this beast, no problem. I plan to get another to add a splash. Buy it now, buy several, and you won't regret it.

i put my 10 inch splash on it,and it is connected on one of my toms on the bass drums,perfect spot for it,really convenient,this can actually hold up rides if needed
