I'm a big guy (heavy!) and needed a good seat. I've used Gibralter hardware before, so I knew it would be well built and able to handle my weight. (300lbs+)If you're looking for a seat you can trust I highly recommend this one. It's not only strong, but it's STABLE, and the large seat is "cushy"..very comfortable, and thats a big plus too. I was looking for a good chair for guitar practice....the Gibraltar Oversized Motorcycle Throne fits the bill perfectly. I was surprised by how well built the throne feels fresh out of the box. I weigh ~220 lbs and it doesn't seem to affect the stability or comfort a bit. Great product--catch it on sale. You won't regret it!

I play drums mainly at church. We have one set in the Sanctuary and one in the Fellowship building but only one throne. I bought this gibraltar throne and have been hauling it back and forth two times a week for sunday and wednesday night worship. It still holds up like a rock and I'm a BIG boy (300+ lbs).

This thrown is solid under me! I was a little worried that it would wobble around as I swiveled, but it didn't. Very comfortable and I recommend it for the "Big Boy" drummers out there!

I have owned this throne for a few years and have not had any major issues with it. Very stable with sturdy back rest (sold separately). This only minor problem is that the hardware holding it together comes slightly loose at times. Also the seat locks in place and does not turn.
