great rack for the money

this is a great rack for the money I have used it for 4 years. The only draw back is the leg mounting system that comes with this rack it loosens and it is shaky but it is easily fixed with replacing the leg mounts with the gibraltar T-leg clamps. This a must for any gigging drummer.

Gibraltar has good parts but they are allowing the Yamaha Hex to move in on their domain and they are doing little to stop it. The reason why I use Gibraltar is the unlimited ways you can put the rack together. With the pipe cutter, you can even make it more custom. You just have to be creative (which most people are not). I'm not sure why Gibraltar only displays these "starter racks" which don't really look all that cool! They should sell them a bit more custom and Yamaha Hex will fade away into space.

P.S. Gibraltar rack clamps should come standard with chrome. It's not a big deal to get the clamps in chrome but all their displayed rack pictures show the clamps in black. Hint: CHROME LOOKS BETTER!! Make black the optional color. Why am I telling these people things that will make them more money? Hmmm...What else. Oh I know, give the option to buy the tubes in black or gold instead of just chrome. Come on Gibraltar, step it up a notch!!

This is one of the best investments you will ever make. I have all my cymbals and my drums mounted on this. I Slam my crashes hard and this dose not move at all.

Great deal for the money. Sturdy and does the job. I pretty much just keep my cymbals on it with the clamps and some booms but I have had my 4 toms on there too and still worked great and held up. I recomend this to any drummer.

This thing is awesome. Everything is very sturdy. The initial set up is a pain because everything can be adjusted. Its almost hard to figure out where you want everything. But once you have it set up once the memory locks make it easy to set up again. And like i said before, everything can be adjusted so your not held back.
