This case came with the LP VOS '60 Reissue Plain Top I just received. It is a step up from the standard case, however it would nice not advertising that you have a Gibson Custom guitar inside the case. For that matter, I would leave all branding off of all cases except maybe the name of the case manufacturer.

It looks great, fits tight, and is what you need if you're *selling* your prized Custom Shop axe. BUT...I don't know what the heck they're making the padding out of, but it's prone to collapse. Mine did, and the screws that hold the four "feet" on the bottom bout of the case have added pinholes to the finish on my Custom Shop Les Paul. Sure, they'll replace it, but my CSLP will NEVER see the inside of it again, and that's a promise. Yes, it's a tight-fitting, pretty case, but not much protection when it does the damage itself. And as a special added bonus, the Custom Art and Historic logo just screams "Steal me" at gigs.
