The Gibson Dirty Fingers Humbucker is the pickup so loud it refused to be silenced. The Dirty Fingers humbucker has returned after a 20-year absence to once again deliver the critical union between power and dirt. These Gibson bridge-only pickups are extreme-output units designed for more of everything. Much more clarity with way more volume than a traditional humbucker and an incredible, aggressive, wide response. The Gibson Dirty Fingers pickup comes with a 4-conductor lead and is wax-potted to eliminate unwanted microphonic feedback.

Great Pickup, but too much for me.

This pickup has got more character then any other pickup I've ever tried. Its truly unique and VERY cool. This pickup has SERIOUS guts and will make your guitar very loud and very punctual. Its got to be one of the clearest sounding pickups I've ever heard. Problem for me is just that its TOO hot.

I installed it in a 2001 Gibson Flying V SE model replacing a 57' classic pickup in the bridge position. I was looking for a hotter pickup and was thinking of replacing it with a 498t which sounds awesome in my 95 LP Standard. I then saw the add for the Dirty Fingers pickup, read the rave reviews, and decided to give a try. Sounds killer..very EVH sounding in my guitar, almost to the point of a super hot single coil pickup. Unfortunately the tone wasn't for me and I have decided to return to my original plan with the 498t.

If you want a very clear hot pickup with better tonal quality then the Duncan Invader, this is the one to get, but be prepared for a TOTAL sonic assault..my ears are STILL ringing!

I did some research on gibsons pickups and found that this had the hottest output of them all. I needed that output for some of the punk I play. I dropped it into my joan jett melody maker and I play through a marshall half stack(how all gibsons guitars should be hooked up). The overall sound u get out of this is just dazzling. Endless crunch on the low end. As for the high end not so much. It suits my playing very well mainly because I play rythm. It's very versatile.

I recently had this baby put into my Epiphone Les Paul studio and it sounds great. Its clear, punchy and makes my stock pickups look bad. I play punk somewhat in the style of social distortion and this pickup does the trick. I use it on a Peavey Windsor with a boss ds-1 and it creats amazing tone. I recommend this to someone who wants a bare bones punchy, clear pickup with no frills

This is the perfect bridge pickup for darn near every style of music. I've been playing guitar for over 43 years (that's not my age, it's the amount of actual years I've been playing the guitar) and I've played them all. Recently I bought a Gibson SG faded. The bridge pickup turned out to be a 490T, not a 498T. (The 490T pickup is worthless as a bridge pickup, but might be usefull as a neck pick) I decided to replace it with a Dirty Fingers instead of the 498T because I already have that setup in my Les Paul. I'm so glad I went with the Dirty Fingers!!! It's very easy to install and worth 10X what I paid for it. It puts my new faded SG in a class by itself. Before I replaced the 490T pickup with the Dirty Fingers pickup this Gibson faded SG wasn't worth hanging on the wall, let alone taking it on the road with me.

I heard about these pickups a while back. I knew Tom Delonge used them in his gibson and I love the way his guitar sounds so I figured why not try em in my SG faded.

Let me tell you this bad boy will shake your pants off. It's pretty intense. Amazing distortion quality. You can hear every note. Pinches will make you wanna cry. If your thinking of a great bridge pickup. If you have the cash buy it. It won't let you down.
