These are the only strings I will ever use. The acoustic I play on is only 100 dollars, and I SWEAR the strings makes it sould like a gibson hummingbird or dove. I WILL NEVER CHANGE

I've been playing since I was 12, and this is the first string I've been totally satisfied with. Weather I'm wailing on my old beater around the campfire or just playing my grandfather's vintage hummingbird quietly, these strings hold their tone, and produce the same great, warm, vibrant sound for months. I've yet to break one, and my friends have all switched over to masterbuilt. I can even switch to DADDAD tuning on the spot without changing strings and they don't lose tone or snap when I tune back, like all the others I have tried. Perhaps professionals may not find them bright enough, but I like the mellow tone and the vocal compatibilty. And, though its not the most important, the low price is a huge bonus.

I tried about every string made on my Gibson Songwriter Rosewood and this is the string that I always came back to. I've since found that they are just as great on my Martin D-16 Sapele. Two completely different guitars and the same string is the only thing that sounds right on either one of them. The tone lasts and they don't break. I won't use anything else.

when I switched to Gibson Masterbuilt strings, the tone of my guitars, acoustic and electric came alive. They don't break as easily, and last longer than anything I've used before. I recommend Gibson strings as the best there is.

I personally must have a string with a nylon wrap at the ball end for my vintage guitars. This string does not have that. For my other guitars, a less expensive string is fine.
