Great Product but be careful

I ordered these for my 06 Highway One Strat with it's "vintage" tremelo. The vintage saddles did not fit. They are too wide. I'm going to try and return them and order a different set. They look great and seem like they would do a great job, especially since the screws don't stick out as far and will be a little easier on your hand.

Nice Upgrade for Mex Strat

Among other upgrades to a Mex Strat this is one. A great improvement over the cheap stock saddles. They do take some time to adjust as the instructions state (1 hour of playing). At first they sounded slighly dull & the G string rattled. Then one day the difference was heard & it took more like 2 to 3 hours of play time. They resonate very well, very clear, inotation is good & the overall tone is well defined. By the way, I didn't buy em' for the anti-string breakage, just wanted something to improve the tone. They're worth the asking price. As far as other upgrades to a Mex Strat...change the pups, ALL the electronics (cheap pots) & the better vintage style tremlo would help (they have a bigger base thus resonating the string vibrations).

My fiance bought me these a month ago from here, and they have made a big difference on my Fender MIM Strat. I no longer have tunig problems, and the tone on my guitar seems to have vastly improved. I'm glad I got these, and I recommend them to anyone who plays a strat.

What a Difference!!

I had a squier Standard Strat, and was tired of popping strings every week. I had carefully filed them, but still had problems. Then I purchased some of these, and should have ordered the import size, but managed for file the sides so these fit. What a difference. I've had the same strings on for 1 1/2 years and have not broken one yet. Also the sustain is much better. The claims they make are real! That pleasantly surprised me.

Pretty Awesome saddles

These are pretty great. Before I put them on my guitar, I was breaking strings about every week and a half. As soon as I put these saddles on my guitar, the only reason that I will change my strings is because they are old and rusted. I have had my current set on for over two months and they are still holding strong. They don't sound particualrly great, but they are still on the guitar.
