I got these a very long time ago. They haven't broken, and they allow my to practice whenever I want. They make the drums a lot softer, but dont completely mute the drums. The only problem I have is the bass mute cracked, and isn't that good. But if you have a family and cant practice that much, these are worth the money.

I moved into an apartment complex and needed someway to practice. I ordered this set hoping to eliminate the noise. It almost does the trick, but there are a few cons. It nearly eliminates any sound from the cymbals and toms. For the snare, you need to either drop the wires from the head or remove them completely. As for the bass pad, I've tried a few things to help, such as put a beer coozie on the beater, but it is still very audible. My next move is to put a glove over it.

This product does work very well if you are just trying to quiet your drum set up but at the same time the real feel of the drums goes away but still a good way to practice if you have picky neighbors. Also I suggest removing the cymbal mutes when you are not using them because they will melt some what onto your cymbals if it gets to hot.
