At first I loved this stand, it holds the instruments very secure, and was very portable. But after about eight months parts started breaking, now every moving part has broken with the exception of the legs. The extension part that enables it to be raised or lowered is also stuck now rendering it completely useless. Yes I do travel a lot and play a lot of shows, but I take exceptionally good care of my gear and this thing has broken from just repeated ordinary use.

Definitivamente, para prevenir incidentes, Hercules. Actualmente uso el doble para 1 electrica y 1 española y tengo un stand de piso para electrica y todos responden con su cometido, ademas que son exelentes en sua cabado. Quizá castiga un poco el precio, pero definitivamente vale la pena su uso.

I've been playing guitar for longer than I care to admit, and have gone through many typical cheap guitar stands. How many of them impressed and excited me? Let's see... how about, NONE OF THEM! But this Hercules stand is definitely something to get excited about! It is lightweight, folds up quickly, easily, and compactly (try THAT with a typical stand!). It is the most stable stand I've ever owned, and to top it all off it looks awesome. It's obviously a well engineered item. I need to be able to quickly change guitar during a show, and this stand allows me to do exactly that, without having to worry if I'm placing the guitar on the stand 'just so'.

I took half-point off of "value" because I do feel these stands are slightly overpriced, but then again there are no other stands that even come close in terms of quality.

I LOVE this stand, and I am going to give this thing a very objective review.

Light aluminum and plastic. The bumpers are foam, but they are small because the guitar is only braced by the neck and a small collapsible arm. It touches very little, I like that.

The thing sets up and breaks down in seconds. Less than 30 seconds with practice. Perfect for gigs, but I leave it up and use it all the time. Reasonably small when folded.

The yoke is too small for some necks, such as classical and 6+ string bass instruments and the like; but then again, it's too big for some necks such as violins. An adjustable width for the yoke would be a small bonus, but not likely worth an increase in price; honestly.

The automatic locks on the ends of the yoke are a little sticky at first, and could probably be a little tighter build. This is a thought that only the most discerning should even consider, and only from a prepared-to-buy point of view.

Prepare to buy this guitar stand.

This unit is VERY heavy duty. I am supprised how stable & solid the stand is no mater if you have one or two of my guitars hanging on it. The yoke is not wide enought to hold my bass 7-string Conklin, but how cares! It holds all my other bass guitars solid and safe.
