I've owned speaker stands from every company under the sun and these stands are the best built, most stable and easiest to use stands you can but. Nothing beats the ability to crank up your speakers with a few turns of a very stable handle. Any other "crank up" speaker stands on the markey are JUNK compared to these.

Wow! the Hercules SS700B is a great stand. It excells in stability. It was however very important to me that it would receive both 1 3/8" and 1 1/2" holes as I need both for varying venues. However, it does not "accept" both diameter holes as advertised. It simply comes with a lame adapter. It was frustrating to try to get information after I received it, to see if I had missed something mechanically on the stand that would reveal its ability to "receive" both sizes. I thought a stand this well built and expensive would surely have employed this feature. Other than this, a great stable stand! In addtion as always, this place was great on organizing the return of the product. Kudos for their efficient return policy.
