I saw a lot of people complaining about this case. It's unfortunate so many people had such quality issues with it. I ordered mine, and while it came scuffed up a bit (which I blamed on the ever-impressive Musicians Friend warehouse team), I've never had an issue with anything falling apart on it or been concerned that it wasn't protecting my guitar.

I remember the days when paying $500.00 or so...for a guitar, it came with a great hardshell case designed especially for it. Ibanez's website states this is the only case for the expensive guitar I purchased, so I ordered it. BIG disapointment. This thing is JUNK. and the price definetly does not match the poor quality. Do yourself a favor and pass on this. Shame on you Ibanez!!!

Ibanez really screwed up on this product. I had to chuckle at the dangle tag touting 'WORLD CLASS CASE' because it is, without a doubt, the lowest quality and lightest build guitar case I have ever owned. It looks good from the outside, and mine arrived without any obvious defects except for 1 unraveled stitch on the lid binding, which I found easy enough to repair, so I am going to keep it. It does fit my EW classical perfectly, although the padding is rippled on the floor of the case and it also easily peeled away from the inside of the shell when the bottom strap pin on the guitar caught it on first use. Luckily, though, I am a hobbyist only and not a travelling musician, so I have opted to break out the contact cement and whatever other patching substances that may be necessary. I don't want to get a case that doesn't fit the instrument. If you can find a third-party case that will fit your instrument I suggest you get it instead. It could not be less of an investment than this one.

After purchasing, and returning, this case on three seperate occasions, I finally gave up. The first case arrived broken, the latches were bent beyond repair on the second, and the third arrived today, again with broken/bent latches. And all three arrived with the vinyl covering peeling off to a serious degree. Its hard to believe a company with the reputation that Ibanez has would put their name on this piece of trash.

This case is supposed to fit the Ibanez GA60SCE. It doesn't fit GA60SCE, It's too tight and the lining peels down as you try to store your guitar. I am trying to get Warranty help from Musicians Frend but they haven't answered my e-mails so far.
