Jensen Mods are a series of Jensen musical instrument speakers developed to give a contemporary feel with a touch of the old British sound. The Jensen Mod Series speakers are designed for precision amplifiers which require a speaker that complements the signal without changing the signatures of the amp itself. This combination of transparent sound with a touch of English makes the Jensen Mods perfect for any amplifier.

I replaced my 10 inch speaker to my brand new Fender Super Champ XD with the 10-35 from Jensen. (the stock one fluttered at high volume) The sound is a lot better, a rather bright on the "Metal" distortion setting. All in All I get the full bodied, Fender clean tube sound loud and clear. And for 35 Bucks, I cant go wrong. BTW, I use an Ibanez Archcore AS73 semi hollow body giutar w/flat wound d' adderrio strings.

Built my own full stack cabs and used 8-25s in the first and 10-35s in the second. There is a definite tonal difference between the two and one without the other just lacks something, but together, WOW. If you want a good all round replacement, you can't go wrong with these.

After much research, I purchased one of these speakers to replace the Celestion G10D-25 in my Vintage Marshall Reverb 12. I was quite impressed how much it resembled the sound of the original speaker. When they say it can achieve that "British" crunch, they weren't lying. I can jack the volume and gain at twelve and it's pure heaven. Clean sounds are beautiful. I would highly recommend this speaker.

Too bright

I got a 4x10 last year as a smaller alternative to my old Orange 4x12. The 10" speakers are all 50 Mods. I've run my old Marshall JCM 800 and Fender Bassman through it. The cabinet makes both amps sound extremely bright, and I cut the treble and presence a lot to keep it from sawing my ears off.

I can't record with it - because it is just too bright.

Made My Princeton Super

I had bought a MOD10-35 a while back for my VOX AD30VT, it sounded good in that, but not quite what I was looking for. Then I tried a Jensen C10Q in the VOX, good but still not what I was looking for.

Anyway, the VOX ended up with an Eminence RamRod, that did the Trick. Now, my Fender princeton Chorus to my ear was schreaming for something to give it that Super Reverb ultra Fender'y tone. So I played around with the C10Q, that sounded pretty close, then I dropped the MOD in. If you are aware of the Princeton, it's stereo. So I dropped the MOD in the mono side, and I was in Fender heaven. I just got a second MOD10 today. WOW! A Super Reverb at a steal, Ventures to SRV. My Strat now sounds like one. I'm very Happy!!!
