I purchased a pair of Mod 10-50's (8 ohm) to replace the speakers in my Fender Princeton Chorus, and all I can say is WOW!!!!!! and I will say it again. WOW!!! Awesome mids, clean highs, tight bass, and they're not even broken in yet. My initial impression is that there are probably no better speakers out there for a comparable price. I will buy these speakers for any of my amps in the future.

The bass frequencies are rich and have a satisfying fullness and depth, the mids are pronounced while the highs ring out with a pleasing clarity. The tone is unbelievable. The speaker appears to be very well constructed and I'm pleased it is manufactured in Italy and not China.

These speakers are simply the best you can get in this price range. I purchased 4 of these to replace the original speakers in my 27 year old Ampeg VT-40 amp. It sounds even better than when it was brand new! Great bass response, and yet very clean highs, and when it's time to rock, they can sound just as filthy as you could want. As I said before, you will NOT find a better speaker for the price.

I just bought the 32 ohm version of the Jensen MOD10-50 to replace two damaged speakers in an old 80's Ampeg SVT410-E cabinet. It was more cost effective for me to buy these than getting the old speakers reconed. I must confess for the price I am seriously impressed with the sound of these speakers. I am powering them with an SWR 350 redface head and they sound great. You can really push them if you want, they can handle turning up the aural exciter on the head, I can even play slap with them, and I really like the tone. They sound Ampeg. Pure rock and roll.

I bought four 10-50 4 ohm speakers for a bass cab I was building mainly because they were the only four ohm speaker I could find. I needed a four ohm final load. I was skeptical 'cause of the price and the fact that they were made in Italy. Boy, was I suprised! Tight, punchy, loud, clean, they moved a lot of air! Then, I bought a Pignose G40V amp for my guitar (was tired of lugging my heartbreaker head and 4x12 eminence legend cab). The speaker was a 10 inch pile of crap. I robbed one of the Jensen Mods from my 4x10 cab to replace it, and my goodness! These babies ROCK. Clear cleans, excellent overdriven tones, loud or soft...a better value IS NOT TO BE HAD! There is no way I will ever spend big bucks for Celestion, or Tone Tubbys, or even Eminence Ever Again!
