I wanted a speaker that would sound good with the two tube heads I own.One is 33 watts the other 5 watts.The sound is really clear and full.I will maybe get another one to put in my gutted ampeg VT22 cabinet.

I replaced the flabby sounding stock celestion speakers in a vox 4-12 cabinet with these. BIG improvement. very true reproduction with a touch of the woody jensen sound. I wont go back to celestion now. Im dying to try the "vintage" jensen ceramics. nothing can touch the Jensen AlNico's. Very nice sounding stuff.

mine is in a hot rod deluxe the stock speaker was too bassy and I didnt need all that bass cause I have a bass player so this helped with that and it made harmonics jump out on the overdrive more than the stock speaker

I built two 4x12 cabs on a budget and man these things were really great. Very loud, tight and crisp. They took everything I could dish at them. Nice round bass response too. I was running these with a Randall RG100ES head and it was perfect for what I needed. Will def. buy more of these.

These speakers have a very clean reproduction of what your amp actually sounds like, excellent durablilty, and average projection. I use 2 in a peavey classic, and although thy're not as loud as the origninal speaker, the tones are much cleaner, allowing more control over the sound.
