I've just received my tuner today and it the BEST tuner out of the half dozen that I've owned. It's small but highly legible in the dark. The DT-4 large, colorful displace is very easy reading for these aging eyes. It fun to keep it turned on while playing. Cheap light show. It's also inexpensive. Go buy one, in fact buy 6, one for each string. That would look real purty on a darken stage.
I guess the only con would be that a guitar can be plugged in but there is no out to an amp. Doesn't bother me

Want to be perfectly in tune for once?

Get this little tuner. I own about six tuners, and have owned others besides -- but this is the first one that, in my opinion, provides a fast, hands-free, no fuss, dang-near-perfect tuning. After tuning my guitars with the DT-4, I often find myself sitting and just strumming slowly a chord, TRYING to hear one string that isn't in sweet harmony with the others -- and I never find it.
The thing that makes this tuner THE tuner is the "no guess work" way it tunes your instrument. The three different "modes" (ways) of tuning are childishly simple - just select one and pick a string: you'll see immediately what's going on - and these three ways of tuning are all, each one, good enough by itself. But you get three! At least you can triple-check if there ever *is* any doubt. I can't get over how FAST I was able to tune my guitar to virtual perfection, first time I used this tuner. Less than a minute and bam.
Just keep it in your pocket, because you can bet that sticky fingers will itch to get a hold on this little wizard from Korg. Get yourself one; enjoy your instrument exactly the way it's meant to sound. In less than a minute.

Best Acoustic Tuner I Own

I go through tuners lick crazy; always looking for the perfect one. I stopped buying others when I found this one over one year ago. Hands down the most accurate chromatic of eight tuners I've owned/used. Absolutely fantastic for six or twelve stringers. Dependable and rugged enough to survive many oops drops...

I've had this little dude for a couple of months and I love it. Its smaller that a can of dip. Its easy to use and VERY easy to read. Built in mic. I have always had great satisfaction from Korg products. I have a Korg rack tuner and this little fellow rivals its precision. I choose this product for price, brand loyalty, built in mic, and strobe display. I use it for acoustic work mostly.

Best tuner I have used

I teach string instruments in Middle and High school orchestras, as well as play gigs on guitar and bass on weekends. Over the past 20 years, I have tried at least 10 different brands and models of tuners with my students and my own gear. I believe this Korg model outshines them all. The strobe method works incredibly well. It tuned my violin and string bass, locking in quickly with the mic. My electric guitar and 5 string electric bass tuned very quickly direct into the input. The display is easy to read, very bright, and it handles the range of a bass low B through the violin high E no problem. I plan to order some for my school.
