JUNK!!!

I picked up this tuner as a back up, it ended up going back the same day. This Tuner has plastic inputs and outputs, it is noisey and kills your signal. Customer service is a JOKE. If your going for a rack tuner spend the extra money and purchase a Peterson Tuner. I also believe that the Boss tuner is a great value for the money, not this dust collector...

It's a Tuner Not A Mute Switch

YesI have had multiple rack tuners over the years and don't think I've ever used them to mute my rig. I got this one about a year ago, and have never had any issues. I have always just used a pedal mute switch plugged into my head for that. This is a very durable, accurate, and dependable tuner at a very reasonable price for a rackmount unit. If you are looking for a mute switch though, this would be a very expensive option. If you are replacing your Boss pedal and don't have a mute switch, as was stated above just use that.

Pretty Awesome Tuner

This is a great tuner. Yes, it is a pain that the tuner doesn't mute all the way, but I found a loophole. I run my guitar directly into this unit, then from the tuner out, I run a cable to a BOSS TU-2 tuner. The pedal tuner acts as a kill switch, but allows me to still tune silently. You can hook up a pedal switch to the Mute jack on the DTR-1000, but this does the same thing, plus I have a back up tuner! Works great and pretty afordable compared to other rackmount tuners.

This tuner seems to work OK.. tracks fast.. but I can NOT over look the fact that it's noisy!. It doesn't mute to silence when tuning in live applications.. this makes this thing virtually useless! It's the craziest thing! Even when hooked up separate from the actual audio chain, it STILL bleeds through the amp.. NOT GOOD!! Don't buy it!!

Good tuner, Can't Mute, and Customer Service Sucks

Great tuner. Cool features, but when used in a live performance application it doesn't mute the whole way! Plus when I called Korg Product and Customer Support, they told me to deal with it! What kind of service is that??? Do your self a favor and buy a Boss Tu-2 or Sabine! Much better!
