my favorite tuner

I've had the Korg GT-3 for almost 4 years and it is still going strong. The battery lasts a long time and the display is very easy to read, even in the dark. If I was to misplace my little Korg, I would definitely buy another.

I bought this tuner expecting it to work about as well as the price would indicate. But, i was dissapointed when it would never tell me the same thing twice, whitch made it pretty well useless. I never know if its right, as it will change its reading constantly. The battery attachement got stuck to a 9 volt, and i dont think ill be able to get it off, so once that battery dies the thing will never be able to be used again. I'd stick with a chromatic tuner, they seem to work better.

If there is one thing I look for in a tuner is the stability of the sensor once it picks up the correct note. Im never sure with this tuner. First it tells me its correct, then its not, then it is... ahhh! Ive been playing for 12 years and very often my ears tune my guitar better than this gadget... too labile, consider another product.

Inexpensive tuner. Works well for the price. Upside; LED scale is very visible on dark stages. Downside; could have half step sharp/flat tuning capability. Mine doesn't seem to have the stability problem when tuning. Just ordered second one for my backup pedalboard.

I have had this tuner for almost 5 years and have changed the battery one time, only because I used the original batt. to replace the dead one in my danelectro pedal. The downside is that aside from that it's a piece of crap. good for beginners, but I haven't used mine much since I bought my GT-6 which has a fantastic tuner built in. Overall it's not bad for the price.
