I have one of these for each of my three Guild 12 string guitars. I've tried 'em all and the Kyser is the easiest and most reliable at home or on the gig.

Works great on my Ovation 12-string, as well as my 7-string EBMM. I haven't had ANY problems, and notes come out with great amounts of sustain.

I have used the 6-string Kyser capo many times on my 6-string Ovation "Legend" and it has worked great. Figured the 12-string would work as well on my Yamaha FG412-12, but it hasn't. The spring is not strong enough to clearly compress the A,D and G octive strings. All I get from these strings is a "thud". I'll go back to my "old" Shubb 12-string capo.

Recently bought a vintage Epiphone 12 string and needed a capo (my standard one did not adequately damp the low E). So, I bought this, and it works. Nuff said.
