I despise it but can't do without it

This is the only one of my capos that will handle an ultra-thin electric guitar neck without pulling my strings out of tune. It has its problems, the spring is too stiff to cope with chunkier acoustic guitar necks and it is annoyingly huge and in the way, unlike the tiny little Shubb that I use on my acoustic guitars with chunkier necks. But just have not found any other capo that'll cope any better (or at all) with an ultra-thin neck and thus why I have to give it a 5 despite the fact that it annoys me. It does the job and that's what counts in the end.

An accessory you can't do without!

I used to use the Dunlop Trigger Capo (until it got lost.) Besides it was big bulky and in the way. And the the joint of the capo was starting to loosen. Then I got the Kyser. Wow what a difference! Every note is clearer they are easy to take off the guitar and make using using a capo fun. I have two (one for my acoustic and one for my electric.) I really enjoy them. I have seen other capos like the Shubb capo and such but the problems with other capos is that you can't clamp them onto the headstock of your guitar when your'e not using the capo. (this is a handy feature especially if you play live like I do, and have songs that require the use of a capo.) It's a very handy tool and has added a ton of new dimensions to my guitar playing. I would never think of trying another brand! Try it you might be suprized.

I've owned one of these capos for at least 10 years now and haven't had a problem with it in all that time. I use it pretty regularly on both acoustic and electric guitars. I've read a few other reviewers complain that theirs wore out after a short time but I have not had any problems. Hopefully this isn't caused by some recent manufacturing issue, because my Kyser has been a reliable accessory for so long I'd hate to have to replace it with another brand if it ever breaks on me.

I guess I have owned about 50 of these in the past 10 years. (Two in each guitar case)Love them, but after a short time, the spring breaks. Just snaps unexpectedly. This is happening more & more frequently. Guess it's time for a different brand. Sad. It's like losing an old friend.

I've owned 2 of these capos and they've both held up over 4 years each. They deliver a good, positive "grip" and with the colors available, you can even match the color scheme of your guitar.
