I bought this strap because I wanted one like Stevie's and also John Mayer wears one. As soon as I got it I love it. You can adjust both sides of the strap, and it is a great deal...it is all leather and it's only 25 bucks.

Stevie Ray Vaughan's original straps were made by a company called Earth III which is no longer in business. Photos of him on the covers of Guitar World (July 1989 and November 1985) show him wearing the white with the black notes. While this strap is not as wide as Stevie's, and the notes are different,the quality is good, and it looks really cool on my SRV Signature Strat. Do get one now. Do honor "The Man."

My Wife found me a black strap with white notes in this same style in a music shop in Denver, but I don't know if this company still makes it. Love the strap, although it would be nice to have the the alternating double eighths with the single ones like Stevie's. I'm going to make my own.Buy a black strap, get some leather from Tandy and make the white notes. Still, I do like these for everyday use. Good product.

Nice replica. Not long enough, but if you're medium size this will fit you nicely. Bluesboy, SRV used many colors and yes white with black notes was one of them. Put it on and it brings you a little closer to the greatest guitar player off all time!

The style of this strap is not the same as the straps with musical notes as worn by SRV. This is not a cheapo strap; comparing this to the style worn by SRV would be like comparing say a Camry to a Lexus. The artwork is also different. That said, it's not a bad strap, and I like the idea of a strap with the musical notes. I wish I could get a strap of the same style as SRV, regardless of the artwork!
