I use it with my G&L L2000 and no strap locks and it won't ever come off on stage. But it rubbed against my neck and started to slit into 2 layers.I super glued it together and its been fine.Leaving it on the bass while it's on the stand makes the ends curl,so if you don't have locks you really need to take it off and lay it flat when not using it.That's a pain.

Excellent long-lasting strap

I have the 3" version for about 1 1/2 yrs that I use with my Dean From Hell. I had it installed with straploks, so there was never really any reason to worry about it coming off.

I will second the comment about it separating and some of the studs seem loose.

Only because I torment the strap, swinging my heavy guitar around and all, did the leather finally stretch enough to come off the straplok. So I need a new one, but this has lasted a LONG time.

I'm also 6'4, this strap is one of the few that is long enough for me!

This strap looks beast! I can't believe they're selling it for such a good price! I think it's really comfty and it doesn't fall off your guitar or anything. It is definitely worth buying.

Good but not great

I have the 2in wide version, let's start with the good. It looks fantastic, I use it on my Schecter Damien 4, it adds some great attitude to your axe. The studs look great against a Satin Black (Matte Black) finish. My Damien isn't the heaviest bass out there, but it holds the weight well. It can stand up to some ruckus, it won't come unhooked. I've had no problems out of the studs either.

Now for the bad. I like to play with my guitar hung low--around my thigh, So I usually keep my straps with the most slack they can have. So, common sense, just adjust it a little or your back is gonna hate you. Its not very good for playing sitting down either, it just isn't secure enough. It is passable when sitting down though. As I said, my straps have a lot of slack, where the nylon meets the leather has a nasty habit of bowling up and causing an indent. This is annoying, but not particularly noteworthy. If you keep your axe no further down than your waistline, this is a good one, any lower, look elsewhere

I currently play a Custom SG, and that stuff is heavy. This thing holds up to jumpin, headbangin, slidin, anything you throw at it. This thing just owns face!!! I have the 2" one, and it is comfortable as all get out. Great Range 2. BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
