It really doesn't take a lot of comments to say how GREAT of a product this is. I have tried various other preamps and, they did fairly well until I decided to try one of these and, WOW!!!! what a difference it made with the sound of my fiddle. I could not believe the absolutely clean pristene sound that I heard and, I might add without any EQ, EQ this unit and tweak it just a little bit and, it is totally AWESOME!!!!!! Granted it is a little costly but, I have found throughout my years of playing that you might as well go first class and, get the best you'll be glad you did. The unit is simple to setup and operate and, I am glad it is battery operated; sometimes the wall wart transformers are a pain to deal with and, having to find enough outlets to plug them into. In summation BUY THIS UNIT, you'll be glad you did.

I have a 70 lb Peavey acoustic amp, and lugging that to church is a real bear. We use these DI's at church and they really enhance the tonal quality of your acoustic guitar. If you don't need to use your amp as a monitor, these are really nice, and make your guitar sound very full.

I read the review for the Baggs Para acoustic and was convinced it was the next upgrade for my guitar sound. I finally purchased it and wow! It sounds amazing. I messed with it for a while both at home and at church and it sounds amazing. I have a Seagull guitar and the para made its sound so warm and accented the bass beautifully. For me it was like getting a brand new guitar that was much more expensive then my Seagull. I wasn't sure if the price was worth it or not, as I am on a small budget, but wow after experiencing what the para can do, it is definitely worth it. It makes everything so clear and warm, love it. Highly recommenced.

I use this with My Taylor GS7e. It sounds so crystal clear with this. "I just got this thing and it made a huge difference in the tone and clarity of my guitar before I even adjusted anything." Same thing in my case. It sounded pretty sweet before I even adjusted anything. Once I got everything adjusted it sounded so nice, and I haven't heard a sound that nice from my guitar being plugged in. A couple of months ago I was thinking about getting the Taylor K4 but it is a little to much for me right now. This thing sounds probably just as good or nicer. It is very small so it can fit on a pedal board or in a bag to travel with, and it just sounds so amazing. Also a good feature is the direct box built in so you can go straight into the mixer. I just got this thing and it made a huge difference in the tone and clarity of my guitar before I even adjusted anything. If you are a singer/songwriter or play music where the tone your your acoustic is important, I really recommend it. Its a bit pricey for a DI, but its definitely worth it
