Using patented and patent pending Lace technology, the Deathbucker guitar pickup was designed by Jeff Lace, for high output with a heavy metal drive. Extreme output with thunderous bottom end, yet crisp highs allow the player the most versatile of high output pickups. An advantage to the Deathbucker pickup is the no-volume drop-in split mode, which works as a single-coil. Noise is virtually eliminated in comparison to standard old-style humbucker designs.

Tech details
This passive design yields active pickup performance with absolutely zero noise and no need for a battery. In split mode, the unique Lace Alumitone design is dead quiet with full range. This radical departure from pickup design is aluminum based, rather than copper. Result: less resistance, higher output coupled to a current driven design as opposed to conventional voltage-based instrument pickups.

The Lace Alumitone Deathbucker gives you more bass than traditional single coils, and more volume and mids than conventional pickups. The highs are smooth, clear, and nicely equalized. With a 5-position switch they provide "in-between' tones.

Deathbuckers are compatible with all guitars and other pickups as an easy drop-in replacement pickup, since the 4-conductor design needs only 250k pots. It's excellent for any playing situation from live to direct-to-board recording.
