First of all, the strap is very nice looking and made well. It's very comfortable and has many size adjustments.

Second, be very aware of the large buckle on strap. I have noticed that it doesnt take much to have the buckle come into contact with the guitar. I am very paranoid about it scratching my instrument. When playing it doesnt cause much of a problem but when you are putting it on or when you are setting on stand you have to be mindful of the buckle or you will get a ding or scratch.

Overall I really like the strap and havent scratched my guitar yet maybe I'm just cautious about it.

This is a beautifully made, well stitched and nicely appointed strap for more traditional guitar players that just like a quality strap, no bells and whistles.

One VERY LOUD word of caution. This particular strap comes with a small 'hairband" that holds the belt-tip in place. It is a great concept but.. the little hairband has a METAL or Hard Plastic crimped band to hold it together. If it is placed accidentally on the INSIDE of the strap, it will contact your guitar and will gouge it considerably. After blaming my kid, my dog, my cat, myself, I found out at a jam that the little band itself was scratching the guitar, remove it immediately upon getting it and wind some black sewing thread in it's place, knotting it in back so that it won't move.

Other than that particularly bad execution of style, it is a great strap. It takes some weeks of use for it to "loosen up" but it will loose it's stiff nature.

I actually just left it off and it is fine. But what ever you do, remove that hairband.

The description should indicate that this is a dark brown strap. The photo is dark and I expected a black strap. To me, it was cheaper to buy a bottle of black leather dye (less than 2 dollars) than to ship it back. The black dye actually makes it look more vintage, and this strap is really cool now. Aside from the color not being what I wanted, this strap is like all other Levy's straps - very high quality and well worth it.

I love playing my guitar low. Most leather straps don't go low enough for me, and I've been limited to regular, black Ernie Ball straps. Then, I saw this one! It was perfect: 1" leather strap that gets long enough. I've had this for about a month or so, and I couldn't be more happy. I'm gonna get at least one more of these straps (1 with straplocks, 1 without). I did punch another hole in it that sets it about another 2 inches lower, but thats it. I highly recommend it.

I own this strap and it is an awesome strap. it helps (A LOT) to have straploks, by dunlop or schaller, either are great. If you want people to be lookin' at your guitar and fingers and not paying as much attention at your strap or the exact opposite, this is the strap for you! But, since it is so skinny, you should most likely wear the pad that comes with it, with it it feels very comfortable. I prefer to rough it, and it hurts only after a while though. I suggest this to anyone who's looking for a cool guitar strap.
