When I first got this, it was great, hand great sound quality. But now, after only a couple of months, it doesn't hold 3.5mm cables in it very well at all. Isn't a big problem, but because of it, the cables very easily get lose and when the cables get lose, it sounds terrible. It also sends a load of static when I try recording, and I'm really wanting something new already.

I bought this thing to replace my gold adapter that came with my studio headset (which I manage to brake into three pieces {long story}). I was disapointed because I couldn't find another gold one for a decent price. This one works much better than my old one did. I get very clear tone from it.

The one problem is, it has lately been having trouble holding the 3.55mm plug (this doesn't effect the tone at all, it just doesn't hold on to it real well). I think it has something to do with the cold though, nothing serious.

I broke my old golden adapter and needed another one to use my headsets when I play bass. I wanted the exact same thing because I liked the quallity the old one put off, but now I'm glad I didn't find it.

This thing gives my bass the exact sound I've been trying everything to get, who would have thought it would have come is such a small package.
