When I bought this Snake it was on sale! It has performed with no hitches(outside of having to split signal mono to stereo & back1/4 in..use good quality adapters when doing this or youll get hum & or failure!!!)& is out 3-6 time a month. I love it!!!

I've had this snake for about 6 months. This is only the second snake I've owned. The first was the 8 channel Jade Audio snake, which I still have and use. Both snakes are used multiple times a week during practices/recording sessions and are transported and used about every other weekend when I run sound at my own gigs. This snake has been very valuable to me due to its fully functioning XLR/1/4" plugins. Anything I need ran from the stage to a mixer, this baby gets it there. The color groupings make it easier to sort it out in the beginning, the male end has a good spread and everything has worked like it's supposed to. I highly recommend buying one or two of these for any basic PA system.

This is a great buy for the money. It is well built, with a metal box enclosing the stage inputs. The XLR plugs are good quality, and I was impressed with the neat wiring inside the box. However, don't be fooled by the combo 1/4" and XLR inputs. They did not work for us, using a mono 1/4" cable plugging into the combo plugs. I'm not certain, but you may need a stereo 1/4" cable to use those, but I personally have not had them working. Instead, we ended up using the 1/4" returns as inputs. Also, the stress reliever piece coming out of the box is of good quality, however, a metal mesh one would be more durable. This is a good snake to have in your inventory though--its rugged and reliable for live and in the studio.
