Don't learn the hard way

Buy one...NOW!! After 30 years of gigging with low to mid end guitars, I finally broke down and invested in a Taylor 814-CE. The difference in tone quality from the cheap guitars is amazing, due to in part, to an extremely thin UV cured finish that allows the solid Indian Rosewood and Sitka Spruce tone woods to resonate properly. Feedback on stage with floor monitors had always been an issue with any acoustic guitar I played, but I lived with it cause I hate those rubber plugs. Unfortunately, after only about six months gigging 2-3 nights a week, I started to notice wear on the bottom edge of the sound hole (something that never happened to any of the cheap laminated thick finish guitars I had played all my life). Realizing I was not going to change my playing style and it was getting worse, I started researching a soloution on-line. All I could find at first were the cheap hole plugs I HATE. The thought of sticking a tone killing rubber plug in my $3000 Taylor to prevent further damage did not sit well with me. Then I discovered the Lute Hole Cover. Not only did it completely resolve the feedback issue without sacrificing any tone, but it completely hides the damage and prevents any new wear. And it rates an eleven in the eye candy department!! Don't learn the hard way...get a Lute Hole today!

This will make any guitar look so nice. It fits great, and doesn't rattle or move around. But for me, it dampened my bottom end a lot. And it took out a little bit of volume. Great for stage feedback reduction and pictures, but not for pure acoustic sound, and definitely not studio work.

An absolute steal if you have a 4” sound hole! Mine is 3 ¾” so I had to order mine directly from the manufacturer which cost a few more bucks, but well worth it. Aside from killing the feedback, which is does very well; it does nothing to your tone! NOTHING! Simply amazing. I use a lot of delays and effects with my acoustic and this product took care of all my feedback issues, while making my guitar look incredible. At every show, I have people asking me what I play. GET IT!

Let's see. You spent how much on that great guitar and sound system? Now you're gonna stick a cheap ugly rubber plug in the sound hole. Finish the deal right. I use the heavy suppressor in maple. I gig 2-5 nites a week every week. This thing is far superior to a heavy tone killin' rubber plug. Just buy it.

excellent feed back control

I decided to go with the moderate control in walnut. I have to say this is the best feed back control device I have ever used. First your guitar looks incredible with it in. Next the tone is still totally there if I decide to play it unplugged. That in itself makes it worth it. Okay I then plug it in and I can adjust my tone controls much higher than before. I could also turn up the volume and still no feed back. I had to really try and get feed back to get any! This is a great product and would advise to look no further.

Peter.
