my 000-18 was airline shipped on alaska airlines in dec, 2003, from alaska to calif. upon arrival, the headstock end of the case was smashed in at least 1 inch deep and 2 inches accross, on one of the corners. the energy required to dent this plastic case had to be tremendous. the guitar was in perfect condition. the dent is actually returning to normal, although it will always be scarred. put your guitar in one of these cases and it'll be well protected.
