Great Strings

These strings are great! I own a Martin DC16-GTE Premium, and I wouldn't use anything else. I also use them on my older Fender acoustic and they're not bad on that guitar either. They have good tone that lasts, and they have good tone for both picking and struming. One thing though- I would NOT but these for a Taylor guitar- get the Elixers for a Taylor- there's a reason they sell Taylors with them. Overall, a great set of strings at a more than reasonable price.

Bright, Mellow Sound

I've used regular Martin Phosphor Bronze strings on my acoustic guitars for years until recently trying the MSP4050 SP's. These strings especially brought out the sound of my Fender GA-43SCE, which has always been decent sounding, but never quite as good as I felt it should be. I'm really happy now. With these strings and a few more years of seasoning, the GA may begin to rival the sound of my beloved '72 Alverez. Maybe...

I'm a Line 6 fan and own the variax 700 acoustic. I use these strings with that guitar and they sound great! Like any string they go dull after a lot of playing. I also use them on my Guild. Great buy!

Wake up your guitar!

These strings made me fall in love with my old guitar all over again. They have a wonderful ring and sweet tone. That very bright 'new string' sound has lasted for weeks and only required minor tuning - probably due more to humidity changes than aging strings. They do not seem to project quite as well as 12-16-25-32-42-54 set, but are a good trade off for both very soft and room-filling volume playing. Liked them better than the D'Addario EJ16s, but that's just one man's opinion and guitar...

Great Tone That Last

I've been playing these on my Ibnez AW40 for months. The tone is very clean and bright and they stay in tune on my guitar for weeks. I've played the elixir nanowebs on the same guitar and just can't see paying twice the price for the same result.
